Card Shower

Just had a few things I wanted to share with you.
First thing is the card shower, please don't forget to send Jeremiah Mullins a card for his 30Th birthday which is July 15Th. And thank him for his service. We had the wrong info entered for his address. His street name, is Hackberry, and not Blackberry. As you know he has recently returned form Afghanistan. We are so excited to have him back!

Second, the 4Th of July Parade will be Saturday, July 3rd @ 12:00 noon. We are entered for the Parade, and we will receive our entry number next week. As soon as we have our number I will send out an email to let everyone know. Please come walk in the parade with us. We will need people to carry flags and signs. You can carry a HHAFFA sign, or you can make a sign at home with your service members name to proudly carry in the parade. Please come and join us and show your support. I'm looking forward to the parade, and looking forward to seeing everyone there!

While I'm sending this I will remind everyone of our HHAFFA meeting. Our meeting is Tuesday, June 29Th at 6:30pm. In the HHAFFA office, which is located in the old Madden school building at 620 H street. Parking and entrance is in the back of the building. We will be serving refreshments.

Correction

Correction, the HHAFFA Meeting is Tuesday June 29TH at 6:30PM. I wrote Tuesday June 28TH in the last newsletter. I apologize.

Please plan to attend if possible. We will be discussing the Parade, and some new events to help raise money for care packages.

Quarterly meeting, Tuesday, June 29TH at the HHAFFA office, in the old Madden school building @ 6:30PM. Hope to see everyone.

Quarterly Meeting

We will be having our HHAFFA quarterly meeting one week from today, on June 28th at 6:30pm in the HHAFFA office in the basement of the old Madden School building. Entrance and parking behind building.

We will be discussing the last quarter, the 4th of July Parade, and some new future events.

I would like to add that our relay for Life team, The HHAFFA Hoofer's went over their goal of 1000.00. The team worked very hard to reach their goal. I would like to give a big thank you to everyone who helped. Many sent baked goods for our bake sales, and some gave monetary donations. All the hard work and everyone who helped is very much appreciated.

Relay for Life Bake Sale

We are having one more bake sale for HHAFFA Hoofer's Relay for life team. The sale will be at K-Mart, June 5th @ 10:00am, in the front doors. If anyone would like to bring some baked goods for the sale, you can bring them to K-Mart, Saturday morning at 10:00, or I can pick them up for you.
