Memorial Day

Memorial Day. A day of picnics, fun and family. The first "official" weekend of summer. The Indianapolis 500. The last days of school. Vacation time. Camping, swimming, fishing, boating, summer-time fun. Memorial Day. A day of remembrance. A day to honor those who gave their lives for this great nation, for our freedoms. A day to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, so that we may enjoy . . .a day of picnics, fun and family. The first "official" weekend of summer. The Indianapolis 500. The last days of school. Vacation time. Camping, swimming, fishing, boating, summer-time fun. We must never forget. We must never let our day-to-day lives, our personal problems keep us from remembering those who served and those who are now serving. Take one minute today to remember. Take one minute today to say a special thanks to God for those who are willing to serve. God Bless America, God Bless Our Troops and their families back home!Nancy Peabody

Prayer

Dear friends,

I have been listening to the news for the past few days, and it has reminded me that even though my son is home and out of the Army, there are still many sons and daughters serving this great nation of ours who deserve our daily thoughts, prayers, and thanks. Take a moment today to send a note or letter of support to someone you know who is serving. Let them know you are thinking about them. Remind them that many people back home are praying for their safety daily and their safe return home! God Bless Our Troops and their families back home!
