Welcome Home - Adapting to the Change The American Red Cross Hoosier Hills Chapter is presenting a Welcome Home Seminar at the Chapter House, 2119 29th St., Bedford, on Thursday, November 13th at 6:30 pm.
There will also be a Welcome Home Seminar in Shoals on Monday, Nov 17th. When a loved one comes home, it is an exciting and wonderful time. But, change can bring stress.
The Welcome Home Seminar identifies common stressors and presents strategies on how family and service members can successfully manage reunification challenges.
Families who have already experienced a homecoming are welcome to attend to help others by sharing their experience. All attendees will receive a support package and information on how to access a comprehensive resource list of services for military families.
There will also be an opportunity from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm in Bedford to send a video via email to your loved one in the military.
